FAQs
Are kids invited to the wedding?
This will be an adults-only celebration. If you need help finding local childcare, please email us at wallwoodwedding@gmail.com and we’ll be happy to help point you in the right direction.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
We’re delighted to be hosting at Manhatta, part of the Union Square Hospitality Group, which takes hospitality and dietary needs very seriously. On the day of the wedding, you’ll be able to speak directly with your server to accommodate any dietary requests. But if you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at wallwoodwedding@gmail.com.
What should I know about the welcome drinks?
Our welcome drinks are an completely optional gathering, a chance to say hello over a cocktail if you’re free. If you’d rather spend the evening exploring New York or enjoying a great dinner, we fully encourage that too!
The event will be at White Horse Tavern in the Financial District (not to be confused with the one in the West Village). Please be sure to use the correct address to avoid a mix-up.
We’ll have drinks and light bites, but not a full dinner, so plan accordingly. Dress code is snappy casual, relaxed but polished.
What’s the wedding dress code?
Our dress code is black tie optional but we encourage you to have fun with it! If you’ve been waiting for the chance to wear something with sparkles, feathers, or a bold cutout, this is the night. Come dressed in what makes you feel amazing and ready to dance. And if you’re not sure what to wear, in New York, nothing is more chic than wearing all black.
How do I get to the wedding?
Our wedding will be held at Manhatta, located at 28 Liberty Street. Please enter through the Manhatta entrance on Liberty Street at the corner of William Street. This entrance has a large black and white Manhatta sign– make sure you see this sign! Once inside this entrance, you will be greeted by staff who will ensure you get to the right place.
What are the transportation options?
Most of our recommended hotels are within an easy walking distance of all wedding weekend venues. If you're staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Tribeca, venues are about a 10-15 minute drive. We recommend Uber, Lyft, hailing a cab, or walking between locations. For additional assistance, your hotel concierge can certainly help with cars or directions.
